Revamp

 I started this blog with a friend in 2008 during the height of the presidential election. At that time, both of us were still in college and had a passion for politics and a penchant for writing. However, soon we both got caught up in our respective professional pursuits and proceeded to ignore this blog for 8 years. Now, I'm slightly less idealistic, a little more mature... and in between jobs. I find myself often posting articles of interest in my Facebook account, which is not exactly the best venue for serious self-expression. I decided, since I have time to keep up with current events, I would take another crack at it here. My intention is to post once or twice a week regarding the news of the week, but the format may evolve as I go. Comments are welcome.
